Embark your roadbook into the Squid X interface

Let us pre-calculate a set of optimal routes for your race based on historical ERA-5 (CEP) weather data from your own polar or a generic polar.

The D-ICE Roadbook, which has been integrated into SQUID X since version 1.19.0, allows you to use your navigation data to select and display historical optimal routes that have experienced more or less the same conditions (wind and pressure) in the same place. These routes can then be compared with your predictive routings to give you a better level of confidence (or lack of confidence) in them.

Thanks to this software tool, installed on your onboard computer and 100% autonomous (no satellite connection required), you will be able to analyse and compare the ideal historical routes with a polar chart for your class and generation of boat.

The NMEA connection (subject to standard operation*) will inject your position/course and weather conditions (wind strength and direction) in order to select and correlate with routing data the historical routes that have passed through the same point and experienced the same conditions. These routes will then be compared with your predictive routings to give you a better level of confidence (or lack of confidence) in them.
